2019's CHAP STUDENTS
ATHY AMBIKKUMAR
Apart from the opportunities to work closely with interpretation services, create targeted health workshops, and help families discover accessible resources, my CHAP experience with CIME also allowed me to gain a broader understanding of the many challenges faced by asylum-seekers in Canada.
VICTOIRE KPADÉ
I loved the enriching experience CIME provided me to work with, and learn from the asylum seeker community.
ELLA GERTRUDE
My CHAP experience provided me both with knowledge of the asylum seeking process in Canada and the various health barriers they encounter, as well as face-to-face interactions in which I learned about the lived experiences of asylum seekers and was able to assist them in learning about and accessing services.
